Hi friends, my name is Sergio. I have a 2011 Audi S5. I'm having some problems with my tranny, "a 7-speed auto" and refuses to believe it needs to be replaced. over a simple code. car runs great it shifts when it needs to, not too late or not too soon, and doesn't slip. but I'm getting a massage on my dash that says "Gearbox mall function, you may continue driving" I also get a code ( P179D00 "refrigeration oil valve electrical fault") operantly there is an electrical connector that corrodes when the valve fails. the problem is that the valve is not where I am being told it should be. (behind the exhaust down pipe/cat driver side) can someone direct me to the location of this valve? (2011 Audi S5 3.0T V6) or if someone has had an issue with this Code (P179D00) Dealer what's $6000.00 to replace the tranny. What!!!! any help is appreciated.
